Blackbox Solutions Awarded Iso 27001 And 9001 Certificates
Kent-based office technology and IT specialists Blackbox Solutions has successfully gained the prestigious ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 Certificates.
ISO is the International Organisation for Standardisation and recognises organisations that incorporate best practice procedures and high standards into their everyday operations.
Blackbox Solutions has been awarded the ISO 27001 certificate which confirms the company’s commitment to efficient data security and management. The certificate requires an information security management system (ISMS) be introduced and training provided for all staff members. An ISMS is a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information so that it remains secure. Its implementation ensures that companies mitigate the risk of a data security breach and, in the event of a breach, have an established plan to get the business back up and running with as little impact as possible.
At the same time the company has also been certified to ISO 9001 international standard that requires the implementation of a quality management system (QMS). Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Blackbox Solutions’ certifications were assessed by CQS (Certified Quality Systems) Ltd, an organisation specialising in ISO assessment and certification.
